Following a recommendation from the CNPA Governmental Affairs Committee, the CNPA Board of Directors on May 3 approved a motion to direct CNPA staff to research the creation and operation of a website that would aggregate public notices from any legally adjudicated newspaper in California.

The motion also asked the CNPA president to appoint a three-member Public Notice Subcommittee to report to the Governmental Affairs Committee any recommendations including operation of the website.

The Board approved a motion to engage a pollster to gauge California readership data to use for public-notice and advertising purposes.
