Grace Reed is now publisher of the Idyllwild Town Crier, the paper reports. She had been advertising sales manager and succeeds Publisher-Editor Becky Clark, who is retiring. Also, Jim Crandall becomes chief operations officer and J.P. Crumrine becomes editor. The Town Crier, in eastern Riverside County, is the sole American property of UK-based Tindle Newspapers Ltd. The London Telegraph recently profiled the company's CEO, Sir Ray Tindle.
