Stockholm Environment Institute’s U.S. Center seeks an energetic, versatile, intellectually curious, highly collaborative writer and communicator to help us identify and tell stories from our work, raise our global profile, and increase our impact.
U.S. Center staff work on a wide variety of timely environment and resource issues, from climate change policy to water resource planning. While this job is U.S.-based, it could involve projects around the world, as well as opportunities to collaborate with SEI’s centers in Europe, Africa and Asia. The U.S. Center offers an international working environment, a warm and friendly culture, development opportunities within the field of communication, and the ability to support a dynamic research team.
Requirements: B.A. or B.S. degree and at least 5 years of highly relevant work experience, in professional journalism and/or writing/editing/PR for environmental programs, research organizations, or non-profits.
